Mica: Apoptosis is an RPG-style game with horror elements about delusions, blissful ignorance, and the depraved acts that humans do in the name of love and admiration. A story about three people's dissonant reality.
This week we are revealing the first love interest of Fantasy Euthanasia - Varron!
Sir Varron is a sour-faced knight who serves as an apprentice mage for the the royal family and the country’s Guardian.
While he has an innate ability for healing magic, his crass and offensive personality has led to him training himself vigorously in using the sword, just so that he can join the front lines whenever his kingdom needs to defend itself against the Empire.
This week we are revealing the synopsis for Fantasy Euthanasia!

Reine is an ordinary schoolgirl whose life has been trying recently. Still, she tries to be optimistic and face each day with hope.

Agreeing, she lets herself gets whisked away into a magical land aptly called “Fantasia” - but wait, she swears she’s heard of this kind of story before…
During her journey through this magical world, she meets Varron, a no-nonsense knight who plays by his own rules; Alaric, the gentlemanly crown prince; and Sorley, the feisty guardian with a sharp tongue, and makes many new friends. Will she succeed in her magical quest? Will she find love?
Or will she be brutally murdered, alone and friendless, in this fantasy land riddled with dangers?
Play as Reine, an unremarkable girl with bad luck, and only you can determine her fate in this mysterious land that wants something from you. Something which you might not be able to give.
Title screen for Fantasy Euthanasia, a fantasy otome visual novel game.
Demo coming soon! Follow the progress of the game here.
Hi all! Me and the artist for Mica: Apoptosis are working on a fantasy otome visual novel. An otome game is a romance game where you play as a female protagonist. There are both male and female love interests. Currently we are 40,000 words in and almost done with the demo. If you’re interested, give this sparse blog a follow. Thanks!
I’m sorry for the lack of responses lately - a month or two ago, I lost all my data from my computer, including the updated versions of Chapter 4-5. It’s really incredibly disappointing and I want to continue working on it, but remaking it will probably take a while. Many people have been asking if there’s been any updates and I’m sorry it took so long for me to tell you all about this, it’s just been a bit of a shock. Nonetheless I’m still hoping to be able to piece some things together and to at least decrypt the version of Chapter 3 I have released so I can continue working on it. Thanks for your patience!
Anonymous said: Does that mean that chapter 4 and 5 are out? Or chapter 4 is complete and you are now working on chapter 5?
Just to clarify - I’ve just finished chapter 4 and am working on chapter 5 now! :) I can probably also release chapter 4 on its own, but I think it will work better together with chapter 5, and also I’m waiting on a CG to be completed for chapter 4, so it should just take a while more!
Anonymous said: Hi! Text anon here! :-) The computer is definitely set to English locale (UK) and I've tried reinstalling the Georgia font but to no avail. Again, sorry about this, I just decided to message you before because I thought it would be good to ask the game developers themselves for help, although I have been looking around for others with a similar problem (I know one did on the rpgmaker net page). But thank you for all your help, appreciate it. :-) And excuse me I meant *textbox apologies :-)
Have you tried installing the Microsoft Core Web Fonts? This may help if you computer does not have all the required fonts to run the game. Let me know how it works for you!
Anonymous said: Hi! I've downloaded the latest package (Chapter 3 1.07) of your game, and I start playing it but no text shows up in the textbook and there is only the text indicator symbol (little spinning watch/clock). Apologies, I had this problem a while ago when downloading the old demo, but I can't fix it. I have tried some research but am a bit stuck. If you could help that would be great, as I'd love to play your game! :-) Thanks again
Hi! Usually that problem happens when your computer is not set to the English locale. :) Can you let me know if it is? Alternatively, does your computer have the Georgia font installed on it?
